Our spring air smells like wanderlust!

The Wilde Kaiser and the surrounding area impress with their wonderful landscape diversity. Gentle and lush meadows, imposing mountain peaks, wonderful glittering sea worlds – here it can be live. But not only the area, but also the pastures provide a true experience, and that of the taste. They not only provide hikers with culinary delights, but also treat them with warm Tyrolean hospitality! 

In the spring, there is nothing better than to enjoy and admire the increasingly colorful nature during a hike in the mountains. Here you will find a variety of beautiful mountain walks and mountain tours, for beginners but also for advanced. Here you will find restful mountain walks that provide relaxation, to active walks that lead to breathtaking places.

We are happy to recommend you different routes! Here we have two alpine pastures that are especially nice to discover! 

Walleralm:

The Walleralm can be found 1,170 meters above sea level at the foot of the Zettenkaiserkopf, a pre-summit of the Zettenkaiser. It can be easily and quickly reached by mountain bike and of course on foot from Hintersteiner See. The view invites you to marvel and is beautiful in every season, but very special charm in the spring offers the colorful splendor of the flowers in the alpine area. You will also be perfectly served with culinary Tyrolean delicacies here. The Walleralm is located directly on the Wilder Kaiser Steig, so that it is also suitable as a way station for larger and multi-day tours. 

Wochenbrunner – Alm:

The Wochenbrunner Alm is located directly on the Wilder Kaiser at 1,080 meters above sea level and is a dream place for connoisseurs but also for families with children. You can either start the mountain trail from below or drive comfortably to the pasture by car or bus and make a walk from the pasture. In the area around the Wochenbrunnen-Alm you will find a game reserve, a pub location, charming holiday cabins and much more. Enjoy a few culinary delicacies on the inviting terrace while admiring the stunning panorama.
